Danny as Coach
You are in the right place if you are looking for help with your running program. I have helped hundreds of athletes reach running goals from the 5K through the marathon. Whether you are looking to start a running program to lose weight or improve your time in the Marathon; my passion is helping others find the best in themselves.
We start with a personal assessment of your exercise history, health, goals and lifestyle. That way, I get to know where you are now, what you want to achieve and how to best fit your training into your busy lifestyle. I also include the ‘mental’ side of running. This includes short and long term goal setting (essential to success) as well as creating and developing self confidence. I want my runners to believe in themselves and to know that “you’re better than you think you are and you can do more than you think you can.”
The key element to coaching is communication. We communicate in person at least once weekly and as needed via e-mail or telephone to see monitor your goals and to discuss thoughts, strategies and progress. Conversations also include training tips, address questions, motivation, nutrition, clothing and whatever’s on your mind. When possible I tag along for one training run weekly for updates as well as form, strength and pace observation.
If the coaching is ‘online’; then of course we are limited to telephone and e-mail but communication is still ‘key’.
Week by week, we work together developing your personal training recipe and increasing your personal motivation as well as confidence and ability. You will not only learn how to train to reach your goals but your self confidence and belief in self will increase by leaps and bounds as you quickly realize the benefits of a personalized program.

Danny as a speaker – Danny has spoken to Kiwanis, Dietetic Associations, and churches. He speaks annually at the Bell Center for Early Intervention about the importance of motivation as their runners not only train for the marathon, but raise thousands of dollars for the center. His message is one of encouragement and self empowerment through process, one day at a time – one step at a time. “No one trips over a mountain, if you step over enough pebbles one day you’ll find yourself on the other side of the mountain.”
He is a firm believer in God’s inspiration in our lives and that we have an obligation in our faith to be fit and healthy to honor God and remain a positive inspiration on our immediate family. He also believes it is time that churches use their influence to encourage their parishioners, members, or congregations to honor God with their health using Paul’s 1st letter to the Corinthians, “6: 19-20 Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit Who lives within you Whom you received as a gift from God? You are not your own, you were bought with a price. So then honor God and bring glory to him in your body.” As well as the parable of the talents
Danny’s humor and poignancy brings a message that is enjoyable, thought provoking, fun, and most importantly – actionable.
